Next, see Salzburg’s exquisite Baroque landmarks, including Mozart’s Birthplace and the city’s vast Cathedral, before finishing at the Höhensalzburg Fortress. Those who’d prefer to relax can enjoy the hotel’s amenities with a full day at leisure, while an optional tour of Höhewerfen Castle will showcase life in medieval Austria and a falconry show.

Continue into the idyllic Salzkammergut, an area renowned as one of the country’s most beautiful spots and one of the main filming locations for The Sound of Music.
